Follow young Chad Killscrow and his friend, Michael Roberts as they travel the circuit from Oklahoma to Rocky Boy, Montana from powwow to powwow, they recreate ceremonies, as well as the traditional dress and dance of Native American customs that were established centuries before. Focus on the preservation of American Indian customs, traditional dress and dance as you follow the two teen-age grassdancers on the powwow circuit. This unique and professionally produced video by producers, Gary Rhine and Fidel Moreno (Yaqui/Huichol) mix contemporary music with powwow music and infrared photography with interesting results. The story and music combine in such a fashion that powwow dancers are portrayed in a very positive manner similar to sports stars.
